Cherkassy city children's hospital is an independent specialized preventive institution that provides qualified medical care to the children and adolescent population of the city.
The head physician of the hospital is Vladimir Nikolaevich Borisenko.

Cherkassy city children's hospital with 50 beds was opened on May 19 of the year by the decision of the Cherkasy City Executive Committee on Blagovestnaya street, 148/1.
In 1962, the hospital expanded to 150 beds and 27 pediatric sites.
In 1967, the number of beds was increased to 200.
In accordance with the decision of the Executive Committee of 28.12.1979. № 836, Cherkasy city children's hospital, was transferred from the street. Known to Konev, 4 and expanded to 300 beds.
In 1999, the number of beds was increased to 360.
Since 2000, the department of a day hospital for 10 beds was opened in the department of ultrasound and endoscopy.
In 2001, the department was opened for resuscitation of newborns in 4 beds.
In 2011, the Cherkasy City Children's Hospital served as a regional hospital.
