Sports club "Europe" was founded in 1998, the initiative belongs to Gennady Mordvintseva and Israfil Vasilkinu. To date, the number of players exceeds 50 people. Pupils of Uzhgorod school water polo play for professional clubs in countries such as France, Croatia, Portugal, Russia, Germany, many of them are the Champion of these countries. The team of the club participated in various international tournaments: the World Championships in Casablanca, Budapest, Vienna, Istanbul 2007 European Championship and 2009 Oradea.
