The exhibition is exhibited in the Museum of the Volyn Icon and is largely based on the collection of Easter souvenir eggs, which at one time the institution was presented by Metropolitan Nifont (Solodukha). A year ago he departed to the Lord, and the museum dedicated the exhibition to his memory: the memory of a man who was a great Volhynin, an honorary citizen of the Volyn region, a good shepherd, a wise confessor for many, a man who did much for the culture and spirituality of Volhynia. Thanks to him, the exposition of the Volyn Icon Museum was constantly replenished with unique examples of icon painting, the Volyn diocese of the UOC and the lord himself financed their restoration, in fact, the first scientific collections of the museum, he financed the first scientific conference on the history of the Volyn icon.
Tatyana Yeliseyeva, the head of the museum, was familiar with the future metropolitan since the 80s of the last century when she participated in the first scientific expeditions led by Pavel Zholtovsky who, during the time of the God-defying in closed and active Volhynia churches, were invented and rescued by taking them to the museum of local lore, not just thousands of holy faces, but often monuments of art.
