The ancient method of decorating everyday objects is application. By this we mean the process of decorating fabric sewn or glued to the base scraps (applique (fr.) - "Invest"), as well as directly to the product.
In V-III centuries BC so decorated clothing, saddles, felt carpets. Tradition "scrappy art" survived to the present day (Hutsul keptari, outerwear fur for the peoples of the north, contemporary furnishings).
Over the past 15 years, this technique became involved and has produced more than 300 works of Tatiana Bazhenova.
A native of St. Petersburg, a graduate of the Kazan Institute of Chemical Technology, former head of the agrochemical laboratory, test engineer of rocket fuel and electroplating worker filtration plant, now a resident of Chernigov (1984) is the Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine (2009).
The unique panels born artist through an incredible perseverance. It produces exceptional artwork patchwork sewing technique using embroidery, various decorative items (beads, beads, accessories). Originality forms, diverse materials colorful colored solutions are impressive landscapes, still lifes, thematic collages, stories, historical figures, heroes of fairy tales, cartoons, humor and Ukrainian rites.
For the first time, viewers had a chance to get acquainted with the works of Tatiana Alekseevna 2005 in "Art Club" (Chernihiv). Since there was about 20 personal exhibitions. Architectural heritage was presented at local, regional, national exhibitions of arts and crafts in the capital's International Exhibition Centre, House of Artists, in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, House of creativity (m. St. Petersburg), the competition "Scarlet Sails" (Odesa ). The artist cooperates with educational institutions of the city, area museums and public organizations.
Artist refers to any work responsibly. Meaningful, sensory-emotional suited to work on it works. Moreover, each of which selects small lines of poetry, putting the text in their own emotions and feelings, state of mind and a piece of your heart.
