Sergey Fedorovich Szyszko born June 25, 1911 in the village of Nosivka Nijinsky district in Chernihiv in the family veterinarian. In the 1919th year with his parents moved to the city Nezhin. Here in elementary school received first lessons in drawing teacher Mr. Paws, which he always remembered with great respect and love. In 1929-33, in years Szyszko studied at the Kiev Art Institute in Theodore Krichevsky. In 1943 in Leningrad, he graduated from the Academy of Arts, where his teacher was Boris Johanson.
